HOW TO MEASURE

When measuring yourself, if possible, do so in front of a mirror to ensure the most accurate measurements. Use these measurements as a guide and add extra allowance based on your preferred fit.

BUST - Measure around your chest, at the fullest part of your bra. Ensure the tape measure is even and horizontal across your shoulder blades.

WAIST - Measure around the smallest part of your waist, this is usually a centimetre or so above your belly button. Wrap the tape measure around, ensuring it's comfortable but not loose.

HIP - Measure around the fullest part of your bottom or top of thighs, whichever is the widest. Make sure the tape measure is close to your body, but don’t pull too tight.

PANT LENGTH - Our pant length measurement is taken from the top of the outer side seam down to the hem, including the waistband.

Notes from Our Designers

We've brought the Ella back because our customers keep asking for it, and it's easy to see why. This is a relaxed tunic silhouette that sits away from the body with generous ease through the bust, waist and hip, making it one of those dresses that genuinely works across a wide range of bodies and occasions. The curved hemline and side splits add movement without shortening the length, and the deep V neckline is kept grounded by the classic two-piece shirt collar, which gives the whole look a quiet structure.

The lace itself is 100% cotton, so it breathes well and softens beautifully against the skin. Because lace is inherently sheer, we've included a full separate slip so you always have the option of wearing it your way. Pockets are built in at the seams, and the short sleeve keeps things relaxed for warmer days. In black, this one reads a little more dressed up than the ivory, which makes it an easy reach for everything from a coastal lunch to an evening out.
