HOW TO MEASURE

When measuring yourself, if possible, do so in front of a mirror to ensure the most accurate measurements. Use these measurements as a guide and add extra allowance based on your preferred fit.

BUST - Measure around your chest, at the fullest part of your bra. Ensure the tape measure is even and horizontal across your shoulder blades.

WAIST - Measure around the smallest part of your waist, this is usually a centimetre or so above your belly button. Wrap the tape measure around, ensuring it's comfortable but not loose.

HIP - Measure around the fullest part of your bottom or top of thighs, whichever is the widest. Make sure the tape measure is close to your body, but don’t pull too tight.

PANT LENGTH - Our pant length measurement is taken from the top of the outer side seam down to the hem, including the waistband.

The elastic through the waist is soft rather than snug, so the dress skims and drapes over the body, making it truly comfortable for all day wear.

Notes from Our Designers

Emily is named after our own marketing manager, who loves a floaty shape that still shows off the feminine figure, and this dress was designed with exactly that balance in mind. The waist has a soft elastic that gathers the fabric without ever feeling tight, so it drapes gently over the body rather than clinging or cinching in, whatever shape day you are having.

The V neckline at both the front and back adds a lovely, open feeling, finished with a simple tie so you can adjust it to your comfort. We designed this one so anyone feeling a little self conscious about their tummy can wear it with total ease, since the drape simply falls over rather than sitting close to the body.

Such a lovely dress for seaside holidays
When I wear this dress, I feel I belong on a seaside balcony overlooking crashing waves with a gin and tonic in hand. Luckily I am heading to the beach for Easter and it will be in my bag ready to deploy “wafting around” mode. Fully lined, beautifully made, soft and feminine. I was lucky enough to buy it on sale. Best value buy this year. 🙌
