HOW TO MEASURE

When measuring yourself, if possible, do so in front of a mirror to ensure the most accurate measurements. Use these measurements as a guide and add extra allowance based on your preferred fit.

BUST - Measure around your chest, at the fullest part of your bra. Ensure the tape measure is even and horizontal across your shoulder blades.

WAIST - Measure around the smallest part of your waist, this is usually a centimetre or so above your belly button. Wrap the tape measure around, ensuring it's comfortable but not loose.

HIP - Measure around the fullest part of your bottom or top of thighs, whichever is the widest. Make sure the tape measure is close to your body, but don’t pull too tight.

PANT LENGTH - Our pant length measurement is taken from the top of the outer side seam down to the hem, including the waistband.

Notes from Our Designers

We designed the Via with real ease in mind. The short swing silhouette sits away from the body as it falls, giving you room to move without any pulling or clinging, and the gathered drawstring neckline with its small v-notch lets you adjust the fit to exactly where you want it. The short billow sleeves add a little volume at the shoulder that balances the shape nicely, and the printed border at the hem and cuffs gives the whole piece a considered, finished feel.

Made in 100% cotton, this dress breathes well and softens with every wash, which is exactly what you want when you are reaching for something on a warm day. The Blue Relic block print is a staff favourite for good reason as the bold paisley pattern and deep blue tones work just as well over a swimsuit at the beach as they do with sandals heading into town. We lined the body so it sits and moves well on its own, and we kept the pockets deep enough to actually be useful.

Perfect short summer dress that's looks stylish
Ive been waiting for Adrift to do a short light weight summer dress that I though would suit my short 5'0 apple shape and I have to say, that this is perfect! I'm a size 18 in the bust so went with XL due to measurements chart and there's plenty of room and above the knee. I hope Adrift bring our some more dresses in the short length.
