It's summertime here in Australia, and what does that mean? ACAI BOWL TIME! Açai bowls not only satisfy that sweet tooth, but are also chock-full of nutrients that will nourish your body. We've found the perfect recipe straight from Australian health and fitness powerhouse Lorna Jane! What's not to love about açai bowls? They're refreshing, super healthy and the perfect breakfast option to chow down on when the sun is shining! These smoothie bowls are also so easy to make, all you'll need is a blender and minimal ingredients!
Serves: 1
Total time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
- 2 x sachets of Pure Açai Pulp
- 1/2 a frozen banana
- 100ml unsweetened milk (use your milk of choice to suit your dietary requirements)
- 1/2 cup of coconut meat
- 1 tbsp cacao powder
- 2 tbsp date syrup or 1 pitted medjool date
Customise this recipe by adding toppings of your choice. We love adding homemade granola and fresh strawberries. Or if you want to add more superfoods in for the ultimate healthy vibes, then top with chia seeds, almonds and walnuts.
