HOW TO MEASURE

When measuring yourself, if possible, do so in front of a mirror to ensure the most accurate measurements. Use these measurements as a guide and add extra allowance based on your preferred fit.

BUST - Measure around your chest, at the fullest part of your bra. Ensure the tape measure is even and horizontal across your shoulder blades.

WAIST - Measure around the smallest part of your waist, this is usually a centimetre or so above your belly button. Wrap the tape measure around, ensuring it's comfortable but not loose.

HIP - Measure around the fullest part of your bottom or top of thighs, whichever is the widest. Make sure the tape measure is close to your body, but don’t pull too tight.

PANT LENGTH - Our pant length measurement is taken from the top of the outer side seam down to the hem, including the waistband.

The Bowie Oversized Shirt brings a bold blue and caramel stripe to a new silhouette, cut generously through the body with a relaxed collar and gathered back yoke for easy movement. Made from crisp cotton poplin that holds its shape, it layers beautifully over pants or a slip dress for a look that feels considered without trying too hard.

Notes from Our Designers

We built the Bowie with room to move. The oversized shape came from wanting a shirt you could wear buttoned up or thrown open, sleeves rolled or long, so we gave it a dropped shoulder and a gathered yoke at the back that lets the fabric fall naturally rather than clinging to the body.

Cotton poplin was the obvious choice here. It has enough structure to keep the stripe crisp and the collar sharp, but it still feels soft against the skin and breathes well through warmer months. Full length sleeves with a buttoned cuff mean you can wear it loose at the wrist or turned back, and we see this one working equally well at the desk or on the sand.

Beautlful.
AAA+ Highly recommend. I originally bought this top in 3XL/4XL and when I tried it on, it swam on me, I thought i could make it work on me but no just too much material. So i did think about it for a couple of days for an exchange. Glad I did, exchange for smaller XL/2XL, what a huge difference. The top just fitted lovely, the colours work well together. I wore it out, got many compliments. Its a me thing, the cuffs on sleeves were annoying me, so I slipped my arm bands on so they wouldnt move because i was always pulling them up. The material is soft and light, I wore a sleeveless top underneath. Another great item from Adrift, Thankyou.
