HOW TO MEASURE

When measuring yourself, if possible, do so in front of a mirror to ensure the most accurate measurements. Use these measurements as a guide and add extra allowance based on your preferred fit.

BUST - Measure around your chest, at the fullest part of your bra. Ensure the tape measure is even and horizontal across your shoulder blades.

WAIST - Measure around the smallest part of your waist, this is usually a centimetre or so above your belly button. Wrap the tape measure around, ensuring it's comfortable but not loose.

HIP - Measure around the fullest part of your bottom or top of thighs, whichever is the widest. Make sure the tape measure is close to your body, but don’t pull too tight.

PANT LENGTH - Our pant length measurement is taken from the top of the outer side seam down to the hem, including the waistband.

Notes from Our Designers

The Clare has been one of our most loved styles for good reason, updated for an easier fit. We designed it as a true summer dress, the kind you reach for again and again through the warmer months. The A-line maxi silhouette gives plenty of room to move, while the bust darts add just enough shape through the bodice so it feels considered rather than shapeless. Side hem splits make it easy to walk in, and the deep pockets are, as always, non-negotiable.

We chose 100% linen because it genuinely improves with wear, softening over time and keeping you cool in the heat. The wide elasticated shoulder straps with their frill detail are a favourite touch of ours, pretty without being fussy, and the buttoned strap adjustment means the fit works across different heights and proportions. The back elasticated panel does a lot of quiet work too, moving with you and removing the need for a fixed sizing at the back. In Chilli, this is a dress that feels bold and warm for summer without needing anything added to it.
